These stunning images of the Aurora Borealis, where captured by Photographer David Akers LRPS on his recent visit to the town of Kaaresuvanto. A village in Enontekiö municipality,in Finnish Lapland. located on the banks of Muonio River, which follows Finland’s western border with Sweden.

The images were taken over the nights of the 15th and 16th March 2018.

The camera used was a

Nikon D5
Lens: 14mm f 2.8
ISO: 1600 to 2000
Exposure time: 10 to 15 seconds
