Keighley Astronomical Society were very pleased to welcome Mr Girbur Singh (Astrotalk UK) on Wednesday 25th November 2015. After a short introduction on himself, his work and his interests. He held one of the largest gatherings of society members in the grip of his hands, as he commenced with a history of the Indian Space programme. It was interesting that there was an initial Manchester connection. As India currently has its Mars orbiter mission at the red planet, Mr Singh gave an overview of all previous missions to Mars. He then moved on to give a detailed review of the Mars orbiter mission and concluded with the future plans of ISRO The Indian Space Research Organisation. He hope that Mr Singh pays us a return visit in the future
