The march meeting of Keighley astronomical society was with guest presenter Prof liane Benning, (Professor of experimental Biogeochemistry) from the School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds. .Explaining her work in the arctic on future space missions. Arctic Mars Analog Svalbard Expedition (AMASE) was a two and a half week long expedition to Svalbard which occurred during the summer of 2006. The expedition consisted of a team of international experts, scientists, engineers and filmmakers.
