Bracken Hall, Baildon, was the location for the first of the summer seasons family orientated events. Keighley astronomical society was pleased to be invited by the local community group, to take part in the first of the events on Wednesday 29th July 2015.
The free event, gave the children the opportunity to make their own paper rocket. To decorate it and then with the assistance of a foot pump and launching platform they found out how their design operated in flight. At the end of the event they also had their own rocket to take home.
Fun was had by all. Thank you to the volunteers who assisted us on the day.
