They successfully completed a five week adult vocational course entitled ‘An Introduction to Astronomy. The course covered the basics of the science; The formation and operation of the Earth, Moon and Sun, the solar system, Stars, Galaxies and Cosmology. ‘They have all done very well and shown a great interest in the study of the oldest science known to man” said Paul Neaves BSc.Hons  MSc who delivered the course. Student William Holmes said, “The course is good and worthwhile. It met my expectations and I would recommend it to others”.
 
This is the second occasion that Keighley Astronomical Society have run this course. Some of the students from this course will join others who will commence  next month  a further Adult vocational course in the study of ‘Astrophysics’.
